Description
When thinking of ways to connect with her grandma Matilda Handy had the idea to set up post boxes to send letters to loved ones who have passed. The original postbox was set up in Gedling Crematorium and more than 40 post boxes have now been rolled out across the UK and Matilda’s story has inspired many other children and adults to write letters of their own. The book includes a letter written by Matilda for her grandmother and the story has been told by Lucy Rowland in lyrical and hopeful text and illustrated by Sharon Rentta. 32pp
