Description
The Market Harborough line to Newark ran mainly over the Leicestershire Wolds, crossing into Nottinghamshire at Bottesford and carried a variety of Mineral and agricultural items. This volume describes the route in detail, illustrating it with old photographs, maps and diagrams. It also includes the Leicester Belgrave Road Branch and shows some rare views of holiday trains running to East Coast resorts long after the regular service had ceased. 96pp
