This looks at the characteristics of traditional farm buildings in North Nottinghamshire, recognising that few are suitable for modern farming, being designed to meet the needs of much smaller units and a system of mixed farming. With this in mind, a study group was set up to preserve a record of “traditional” farm in Bassetlaw, particularly those threatened by demolition or redevelopment.  68pp, illus.
