Mary Ward College of Education was situated in Keyworth on the site that is now the Head Office of the British Geological Survey. It was a teacher training establishment founded and operated by the Loreto Institute of Nuns. This book tells the story of the College during its short existence, 1968-1977, drawing on personal recollections from former lecturers and students, as well as explaining who Mary Ward was and the background of the Loreto Institute itself. 176pp, b/w illus.
