Craig Bromfield was just thirteen years old when Brian Clough took in him and his older Brother, Aaron. The brothers came from Southwick, a depressed area in Sunderland, where they lived with their abusive stepfather and met Clough while out guying for money.

From that point on, the brothers lived with the Clough family for nine years off and on with Clough becoming a second father to Craig throughout his teenage years. Here we learn of a very different side of this iconic figure, away from the cameras and the football. 336pp
