Description
Born in Scotland, Masson moved to Middlesborough at the age of 12. As a footballer he came late to the international scene, playing for Scotland for three years. He starred for Queens Park Rangers in their best-ever season and made history with Notts County, becoming the first player to captain the same club from the Fourth Division to the First. After giving up football, Masson spent fifteen years running The Gallery Hotel in West, but now lives in rural Nottinghamshire “winding down”. 328pp some b/w photos.
